ECHL and MeiGray: Exclusive Memorabilia for Hockey Heritage Classic

In a recent development that excites hockey fans, the ECHL has partnered with MeiGray to provide fans with the chance to own exclusive memorabilia from the 2025 Warrior/ECHL Hockey Heritage Classic. Eagerly awaited and sponsored by Discover! Kalamazoo and Firekeepers, the Kalamazoo Wings play host to the Toledo Walleye at the Wings Event Center on Saturday, January 18, at 7 p.m. ET.

Fans will have the opportunity to bid on game-worn jerseys from both teams. The auction for game-worn jerseys will be open from Tuesday, January 21, through Thursday, February 13, with a close time of 9 p.m. ET on MeiGrayAuctions.com. Bids can be placed on jerseys, gloves, and helmets and will happen later with information provided at a later date.

For his part, Dave Meisel, Vice President of Business Development at MeiGray, expressed tremendous excitement for the continuing partnership with the ECHL. “MeiGray is proud to continue its relationship with one of the premier development leagues in North America in conjunction with the 2025 Warrior/ECHL Hockey Heritage Classic,” Meisel said. He told fans the jerseys worn during the game would be authentic, meaning the buyers get what is advertised.

2025 Warrior/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week

The 2025 Warrior/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week has several exciting activities to offer, sponsored by Discover! Kalamazoo and Firekeepers. The week will start off with the induction of the 17th class into the ECHL Hall of Fame Friday, January 17. The week will culminate with the Hockey Heritage Game between the Toledo Walleye and the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday, January 18.

From 2:00 p.m. onwards on January 18 at the Wings Event Center, fans will also be entertained with interactive games, an opportunity for player autographs, and the making of balloon animals at the Fan Fest. An open skate time of 2:00-6:00 p.m. will also be available. To enter the Fan Fest, one must have a ticket to the Toledo vs. Kalamazoo Hockey Heritage Game on January 18.

About the ECHL

Since its inception in the 1988-89 season with just five teams in four states, the ECHL has grown into a nationwide league with 28 teams across 20 states and two Canadian provinces for its 36th season in 2023-24. The league has been a stepping stone for 759 players who have advanced to the NHL, including seven who made their debut in the 2024-25 season. The ECHL maintains affiliations with 29 of the 32 NHL teams, marking the 28th consecutive season of such partnerships.
